EMBRC published the 2025 Annual Report with an overview of the work its research network across Europe has been doing over the past year to support global knowledge of the ocean, and help create a sustainable future.
As the leading research infrastructure for marine biology and ecology research in Europe, EMBRC plays a pivotal in advancing global marine science and promoting the sustainable use of resources through scientific excellence, technology and innovative services.
Being a member of EMBRC’s network, we’re proud to take part in these important initiatives. Over the last year, EMBRC Belgium marked a decade of excellence in marine biological science as it celebrated 10 years as part of EMBRC. During this time, our partners have facilitated nearly 300 scientific papers and participated in 40 European research projects.
